I do not recommend using any surveillance camera through a window because it disables the night vision from working due to the glass reflecting the Infared Light back at the camera basically blinding it. My advice is purchase the Blink XT2 outdoor units for that type of surveillance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have one of our wired blink cameras inside amd faxing out thru window. Have not encountered any problems with it. Its placed near basement door that had a window near it and a motion light on outside near door. So when there is motion light comes on and camera has caught motion. Turned out to be a curious raccoon but it worked and did what it was supposed to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Blink cameras can not reliably detect motion on the other side of glass. Some users have placed cameras facing out a window or through a glass door to use Blink's Live View option. A Blink camera looking through glass will react to the near side of a pane of glass, so it will not be activated by motion beyond that to create clips when in the Armed state.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The XT and XT2 can be used outside and are battery-operated, and can detect motion. Sensitivity can be adjusted for daylight and night time use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, there is a light that comes on when camera starts and it just shown the glare from the window. I know, I have tried several times to make it work.
