Apparently you can use it but no recordings! I didn't realize this. If I had, I would never have bought them! Ridiculous!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am so upset. I didn’t realize that my recorded video “clips”we’re on a trial subscription plan. Today it stopped recording. I have a camera being used for an elderly mother in a facility and it is ridiculous that I have to pay when I purchased the camera and have Wi-Fi. Do not buy this camera. Also, it only records clips which means it misses a lot of things. My mom has had things stolen and they were not caught on the camera. It says it is motion detected but it doesn’t always work. I want my money back. It works fine for a live camera only.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In 2018 we got our first outdoor Blink camera, no monthly fee. Over the years we got 3 more, no fees. Then suddenly last year the email came that due to cloud storage used to put the pictures/video on our phones/ipads, they had to charge us a fee. We pay $5/month. We paid for the cameras, we pay for WIFI, and they never said when we bought them we'd someday have to pay a monthly fee. So many other companies out there don't charge for it so we're looking to switch to some other brand. Blink is a good system if you don't mind paying monthly for it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I was told it would if I had that $14 USB that you buy with it but, after my free trial ended, my cameras don’t record anything. I can click on a camera and watch video, but cannot save anything without taking a screen shot. These are pretty much worthless unless you buy some sort of plan. Hopefully people can go to a local store and get some straight answers about a good product and what it will and won’t do, along with actual costs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The camera will absolutely work without a subscription! But you will need to buy the Synch Module and a USB flash drive to do this. Once it is set up, you can view the saved videos remotely from your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO. If you want to pay every month it’s just ok. Many of my videos disappeared and couldn’t get them back, so not very reliable even with subscription. Wish I would have known.
