“Subscription service says $3 mo to one device. I assume that means one camera, so each add camera is another $3 on basic plan. Also micro storage can be used on this not just the XR version? How about a USB stick? Will camera pick up objects 100ft away?”

The Basic plan covers one device, while the Plus plan ($10/month) covers the entire account no matter how many devices there are. Only the 'Blink Sync Module 2' is able to utilize a USB drive for Local Storage. Our devices are tested and rated to accurately detect motion up to 20' away. With higher sensitivity settings things further than 20' may be picked up, however they are not rated to.

So yes, if you have 2 cameras, you'd need two separate Basic plans ($6/month total). Each additional camera requires its own Basic subscription. If you're planning to have multiple cameras, the Plus plan at $10/month (or $100/year) is often the better deal — it covers unlimited devices at your location, plus you get a 10% discount on future Blink purchases and an extended warranty. Also, -MicroSD cards work only with the Sync Module XR (not the Core that comes with your Outdoor 4) -USB flash drives work only with the Sync Module 2 -The Sync Module Core included with the Outdoor 4 does not support any local storage — you'd need a subscription for cloud storage, or purchase a Sync Module XR or Sync Module 2 separately.
