• The subscription from blink is not $30 a month, it's $156 a year. Just plug in a usb flash drive in to the sync module and everything can be stored on it....

• There is a subscription for our cloud storage, but customers are not required to use it. Another storage option is local storage, activated by plugging a USB flash drive into a Sync Module 2. Local storage has no recurring fee to use the feature. Either of these storage options will let you view clips remotely from your phone. Without a storage system for your clips your system will be able to detect motion, notify you of the motion, and live view. • Watch for an Amazon Prime day deal. I got a year subscription and a wired Blink Camera/ floodlight for $100 as combo recently. But the synch module does nicely by itself. This 2 pack doesn't include one of those it looks. Quite important to have.
