- Answer Your range will depend on the strength of your Wi Fi signal. Your cameras will connect to the sync module so make sure that it's not blocked by anything. The basic cameras do not provide motion. You can purchase a mount that will allow the cameras to tilt and pan. They are not very expensive.

- Answer about 30 feet is when they starts disconnecting beause of walls..so not great if your wifi locations is far away from the area you need monitered.

- Answer We have several sets of cameras and the battery life apparently depends on the amount of usage, quality of video chosen, infrared usage, live usage, and the distance and quality of the signal from the receiver and router. We have cameras up to and further than 300 feet away. The neares units get used the most and have longer battery life close to 2 years, one or two went over 2 years. The units located furthest away last about 9 months, a year, or just over a year.
