One camera of mine has burned through 3 battery sets in less than a month because the sensitivity setting was high. It is set at "2" now, but captures many fewer events. The batteries are not rechargeable. There is an option to plug it into a USB type outlet.

However, the battery life can vary significantly based on several factors, including device settings, usage patterns, and environmental conditions. For optimal performance, we recommend using Energizer Lithium 1.5-volt non-rechargeable batteries (performance may vary with other battery types). Hope this helps, have a great day!
