When you have multiple Blink cameras, the Sync Module lets you manage them all and view them all on the same app. The XR module (or the Sync Module 2) has the option to use an SD card for local storage. The Sync Core module included with some other Blink systems do not have a place for an SD card.

The included XR sync module is an indoor unit that allows for an extended range (up to 400 ft) for up to 2 Blink Outdoor 4 cameras and the device.
