With the subscription you get multiple long distance cameras. If you dont have the subscription i think you get 2 up to 400 fr away from the module. I have one about 100 foot away from the module and it had full bar connection at all times

For the range they'll detect motion, here's what Blink says on their website: "Blink cameras use either Passive Infrared (PIR) or Pixel Difference Analysis (PDA) to detect motion. Both technologies provide similar motion detection. Blink cameras detect motion best from about 7 to 19 feet (2m to 6m) away, and can respond to motion at 30 feet (10m)."
