Most definitely the doorbell, plus if you like you can add the camera also for added security down at the end of your porch. That's what we might do. We currently have the doorbell and it is great! Does everything it's supposed to. Very EASY installation for wired or wireless. We went with wired installation, took 15minutes tops, great video feeds and crystal clear color and infrared. Does it all! Enjoy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just bought the doorbell, it is great and you'll want to put it on your front porch so you can speak two ways if you get a visitor. Plus you can hook the doorbell up to the old wiring if needed or go wireless. You should probably leave this floodlight for a different part of the house, backyard, or end of the porch if needed. Definitely go with the doorbell for front door security. We use ours and it is perfect resolution, great viewing angle, and able to see the whole front elongated porch. Door chime works great and it chimes inside or both outside and outside and on your phone when doorbell button is pushed. We decide to hook it up to our mechanical doorbell too if you so wish, or go wireless. The doorbell activates with motion sensitivity and records. Both are great for security but i would go with the doorbell if you ever receive a wanted or unwanted guest you'll be able to speak with the other person outside, and there's tons of other features.
