“I have two Blink outdoor camera's & a BSM00203US Sync module. I just purchased two indoor camera's & a doorbell camera. If I don't want to use the subscription for cloud storage, do I need to buy a specific Blink flash drive to use on my Sync module?”

No you should be able to set them up separately

With no active subscription, a recognized USB drive in your Sync Module 2 begins saving motion clips to Local Storage. Motion clips saved to Local Storage are shown in the Blink app clip list when you tap the media icon . Only clips from eligible cameras are saved. You can purchase any USB drive between 1 GB and 256 GB in size. The following cameras save clips to Clip Backup and Local Storage: Blink Video Doorbell Outdoor and Indoor (gen 2) Mini
