Is this item waterproof? null

Yes, I owed owned this and it worked great after being hit with a severe tropical storm here in New Orleans and we receive rain a lot with high winds so basically no matter your home home you live in down here, your doorbell will get wet. For the price I was SHOCKED of the video quality and the all the settings and options the app offered. Mine was misplaced when I moved and will be purchasing one of the same models tomorrow for my new apartment I have!!!

If you want to know if it’s works in the rain, it does. Our doorbell is on the porch, we haven’t had an issue so far with weather.
