• Hi HSJ! The doorbell are designed to work on 2.4GHz and not on 5 GHz. Most modern routers broadcast both 2.4 and 5 GHz. The 2.4 GHz band offers a longer range and better wall penetration while the 5GHz band provides a faster speed but has a shorter range and is more susceptible to interference and signal blockage.
