Since I purchased the Blink I have not seen a rise in my electric bill.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Under the "Power" section of the specification, the manufacturer states: "Hardwired. Neutral wire required. 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz, 45W." Thus, when the light and camera are on, the total consumption is 45W. By default, the camera and lights come on only when motion is detected. If your light does not turn on frequently, you should not be concerned about the amount of electricity. If you keep them on all the time, it's the equivalent of a 45W bulb. 45W load is an insignificant electrical load and I can't think of any house I have seen that would have any issue with such a load.
