• There is no flash, the night mode on the XT works with IR and the blue recording light on the XT has the option to be turned off for stealth recording.

• Now you have option to turn that blue light off. There a switch for that inside battery compartment. Google "blink xt turn blue light off" will likely point you to more detail instructions.

• There is a light that comes on when it detects motion and it starts recording if you have that option enabled. If you don't have it enabled, no light will be noticeable.
