• Yes, I did the same thing recently and that is the way it is designed to work. Note Best Buy has the the camera without the sync module on sale now for 71.99.

• You are able to purchase and use just the cameras from any of the Blink system packages to add to an existing Blink System. This will just give you an additional sync module
