I've had mine for 11 months in Northern Wisconsin. The batteries still say ok. With these temps I'd be ecstatic with a year. It's a motion activated system so as far as continuous recording goes I don't know if that's possible. Good Luck

Recording in 1080p on the XT2 camera will significantly decrease the expected battery life of your camera. With Enhanced mode, you should get up to 1 year with standard use. Do note: Blink cameras do not offer continuous recording, though you can leave the system armed for motion detection for any interval of time.
