• Yes, third party sellers offer kits for solar power. But doing so means exposing the weatherproof plug over the connection port required. Plus the cost of kits I found would be equivilant to years of battery changes. Even with extremely high use my first battery set lasted 3 months in one camera. Other two still going strong 6 months later.

• A solar panel would work powering the camera through the USB port, we require 5V, 1A. however, It’s not tested or supported by us.
