With my experience, so far, with this camera, it should do above and beyond what you are looking for.

The Blink System records clips based on motion detection and sends an alert to your compatible mobile device. The Blink System does require the use of internet/WIFI to operate. The Blink cameras need to be within 100ft of the sync module to operate and the sync module would need to be plugged into a normal wall outlet at all times.
