Batteries are Excellent, but you have to use Lithium batts.Yes can be powered by electricity cord come separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lithium batteries are good quality and will hold up well but you have to run things on the lowest settings. High sensitivity to motion or not properly adjusting bushes and such for wind movement with cause high drain. You can adjust zones and the advanced zone setting is great at cutting out false alarms. Retrigger time if set low will use up battery life and of course clip length will do that as well. Also you can adjust the InfraRed intensity and that will use or save power. Also you have audio capability so that is a power user. and last is your video quality settings The module interface to your wifi plugs in the wall and has an out let that can be used for the camera. Normally the camera is not that close (6 ft or less) to the module) so I used one of our outdoor plugs and a Power converter from 110AC to 5 VDC and plugged a cable from there into the back of the camera and then adjusted to the higher quality settings leaving the batteries as backup for power loss. I will warn you that powering this way you will not know your battery backup condition unless you test it once in a while by unplugging the power supply cable and checking battery status on your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect them directly with a micro-USB cable if you do not want to run them wirelessly on the batteries. Although, you do have to open a small rubber door on the back of the camera, which to me would probably prevent the water-resistance when using a cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The USB port on the back of the camera can be used with a MicroUSB cable and power adapter (not included with your camera) to power your cameras rather than using batteries.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
