It would pick up the sound of the ac, but also registers the temp. if the camera. Since I bought two sets I could use the spare modular. Yes you will download the blink ap on your phone and then you can arm or disarm the camera from anywhere. You would link to the campground WiFi. It is a really nice and inexpensive surveillance system. I would definately recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.About the Wi/Fi... My understanding is that the sync module needs to be plugged into the wall near the router. If you’re using the campground’s system, I’m not sure if you would be able to place the module appropriately close to their router. There’s also a distance limitation between the module and cameras. Maybe someone at Blink or BestBuy could clarify.
