You do not need to purchase any hardware to utilize the system. You set up the cameras inside or outside your home or business. Then you download the Blink app. The instructions are very easy to follow and it only takes a few minutes to complete.

You need a 2.4 ghz WiFi. No other hardware needed. 
You can get stronger screws. Up to you. 
Everything is right in the box. Very easy setup!
You can buy accessories for 360° mounting and casing for the cameras for protection from rain. I’m thinking about getting that, especially if you get a lot of rain. 
Not expensive!
