- Answer While the Blink System does integrate with the Amazon Alexa-enabled devices you do not need one of these to operate the Blink Cameras. The Blink App is currently compatible with any iOS mobile devices running version 10.3 or higher, Android mobile devices running version 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher and Fire OS mobile devices, running software version 5.1 or higher

QuestionI'm looking to purchase the three pack cameras to mount on the front and sides of my house. The side cameras need to be mounted sideways looking down from the second floor. Does blink offer mounters for different positions?

- Answer Yes, they have mounts that can turn so that can get the angle you need to view. There are also Gutter hangers that are also commercially available.

- Answer The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions. The range of the motion sensor is up to 15-20ft depending on exact conditions.

- Answer The Sync Module would need to be plugged into a normal wall outlet. It comes with a USB and correct power adapter. They are 110/220V compatible.

- Answer The Blink sync module is shipped with all system/kit purchases, it would not ship with the add-on camera, which is just the camera to be added to any existing Blink System.

- Answer The Blink XT2 cameras have an operating temperature range of -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C). The USB port on the back of the camera can be used with a MicroUSB cable and power adapter (not included with your camera) to power your cameras rather than using batteries. Do note, The Blink XT and XT2 feature a rubberized cover over the USB port. Removing this cover makes the camera no longer weatherproof.

- Answer The great thing about Blink is that it does not continuously record like other cameras. The camera only turns on when it detects motion or you turn it on to watch Live View, helping to significantly reduce data usage. A five second motion clip with audio takes up 750KB. We do ship each Blink XT2 with a camera mount, mount riser, and two screws. Please note, use of the included screws for the mount will create two holes in the surface of the wall.

- Answer You can only have one username/email address and password per account however, you can download our app to as many compatible iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices as you’d like, so the entire household can receive alerts or check in at home. When launching the app on additional devices, please use the sign in option to access the account you created on your first Blink connected mobile device. You will not have to go through the setup process again. Please note you will not be able to use Live View from multiple devices at the same time.

- Answer Blink’s included mount will allow you to easily adjust the positioning of, and pan, tilt or swivel the camera. Blink’s positioning and/or view cannot be controlled via the app. On the Blink cameras and within the Blink App itself there is not a way to zoom. Users do have the ability to zoom into a motion clip and live view (by triple tapping or pinching and stretching the image)

- Answer There are not any subscription fees or data storage charges with our Blink Camera Systems. Blink’s server provides each Sync Module storage for up to 7,200 total seconds of video (or 1,440 five-second events) for as long as you like (no expiration). If you reach your storage limit, it will automatically delete the oldest clip in order to make room for the next one.

QuestionI'll be setting a camera up at our garage door. If I have a party out there, would I get an alert every single time anyone went in/out the door? Or can I keep the cameras working but "mute" the alerts for a specific time frame?

- Answer You are able to turn on/off the notifications for the Blink cameras at anytime within your mobile device settings for the Blink APP. You can also manually arm and disarm the Blink System or even individual cameras on your Blink System at anytime through the APP on your compatible mobile device.
