A:AnswerI replaced a tracfone. Using a tracfone service with this phone requires you to purchase a "sim card starter kit" that is all of $1 at BestBuy/Target,etc. While searching for this elusive tracfone card (which thankfully Bestbuy had ONE), I did see various other carrier ones for $1 that had to be used. I believe BestBuy Blue Shirts could give you a definite answer on that. Good luck.
