This would be a question for your service provider. I have Metro PCS service on my phone and it works great! The best thing to do is go to your nearest store and have them port over the phone on to your contract. Keep in mind the area you live, just like any cell phone service it may work best in certain areas for other people.

Please try again later.You put your MetroPCS SIM card into the Sim slot on the side of your phone make sure you have an adapter so your sim card can fit and you will call customer service or go to a store so they can activate it it is $16 to activate and if you go in the store make sure you have that SIM card adapter so your sim card can't fit if not they will charge you $16 for activation and $30 for a new SIM card that fits if you pull out the SIM tray it will be the slot furthest from your thumb since metro is with T-Mobile now they charge you to activate and it used to be free hope this helps you
