• You can program it in the app. The default is the "mute/unmute". There are no voice commands on this headset and you have no way of knowing if you are muted or not. The PLT 5220 will say "muted" if you are speaking into it. My advise is not to TRUST the mute option as you never know calling your boss an a $$ hole under your breath will go through or not :P

• The blueparrott button works as a mute button in call. It is customizable via the app for many other functions.
