yes, bob needs to run into things to tell if there's something there - no support for detecting accidents and avoiding them

Yes it will run over pet accidents. However, I found mine easy to clean. There are tutorials on how to disassemble for cleaning and putting back together. I gloved up and used Simple Green to clean things off with toothpicks, old toothbrushes and Q-tips. You have to be careful and not drop the little screws and don’t let liquid run into the inside. And if you disconnect any electrical connections do it gently.
