Do I HAVE to use it with google or alexa? null

Nope. I use neither of those. As long as your vacuum is connexted to your wifi, the app is all you need to control it whenever and whevere you are.

My experience is that the bobsweep Ultravision model does NOT support the bobsweep skill in Alexa. The configuration and commands are in a bobsweep app.
