No. we used our old one. That piece actually came with our granite tops when they installed them.

Yes, you get 2 choices. Mount to wood or mount when your countertop has no wood.  There is a YouTube video that shows how to attach the bracket to your washer and counter top

Yes, ours is installed with one that came when the unit was delivered. We did order the suggested kit for installation as well.
