I’m not sure what signals you are talking about but You have to set up the fridge to connect to the WiFi. So if you don’t want it then just don’t connect. I have found the alert that the door is open extremely helpful. It is a heavier door than my last fridge.

Hi Adriana. Thank you for your question. The Home Connect App does not have to be utilized. If the refrigerator is not connected to a home network, it can still be operated manually via the controls.
