“Does the unit come with the power cord attached to the device? Then this would be wired to the house. Or does the owner need to buy the power cord separately, install it on the device and then the house electrical? thank you”

Hi herbf, thank you for your interest in the NIT8060UC. This model does not come with a plug. This cooktop is designed to be hardwired via a junction box. You can refer to the spec sheet and install guide directly on the Bosch website for more information. If you have any additional questions, please contact a professional installer.
