• The 161 speakers require a third party amplifier/receiver which outputs between 10-100 Watts Per Channel, 4-8 Ohms. A Bose Wave Radio is an integrated system, designed to be the primary sound system and will not power additional speakers. • The Bose® - 161 Speaker system is a pair of speakers only, and will need a amp/receiver for the audio source.
