“How to hang from the ceiling OK, so I bought the 161's, and they sound great. Just one problem - when you put the bracket on the ceiling, the speakers point straight down. They don't pivot very much, but if I try to point them towards the front of the room, the little plastic teeth that are supposed to hold them in position don't work, No matter how tight I put in the screw, they strip and the speakers go back to hanging straight down. Tightening the screw seems to separate the teeth instead of keeping them interlocked. The speaker seems too heavy for the small teeth in the bracket. What am I missing? Is there some trick to this?”

I don't think they are designed to put on the celing.
