Hi Mich. Great question. The Acoustimass 6 Series V speakers do need an adapter to connect to a bare speaker wire. However, the UB20II brackets come with everything you need to connect the speaker to the wall and the speaker wire to the speaker. We also sell the adapters through our parts department at 800-380-4831. We are available Monday through Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST. Thanks!
