Enjoy the game or your favorite movie in rich 5.1 surround sound with this Bose® Acoustimass® 6 Series V home theater speaker system, which features 5 full-range speakers and an Acoustimass® module for high-quality audio performance.
Q: Are all speakers wireless ?
A: None of the speakers of the Bose Acoustimass 6 Series V Home Theater Speaker System are wireless, this is a wired system.
A: Yes, the system would be compatible with the Accoustimas 6 Series 5 system but with two caveats.. 1) The Accoustimas 6 Series 5 system is a 5.1 channel speaker system and the TX-NR656 receiver is 5.1-7.2 capable. 2) Should you decide later to purchase the two additional Bose speakers and second subwoofer required for 7.2 mode, the existing Accoustimas module will not support those speakers. In the Accoustimas systems, all speakers connect directly to the Accoustimas Subwoofer module, and that module in turn connects to the receiver. Unfortunately the impiedence of the individual Bose speakers is different from standard theater speakers, so you will not be able to bypass the Accoustimas module and connect them directly to the receiver without destroying them.
Q: What is the watt or power to these speakers
A: These speakers are 150 watt.
Q: How many watts does it have
A: Here are the compatibility specs for this system: 10-150 W per channel, 4-8 ohms
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the Acoustimass 6 Series V Home Theater Speaker System can absolutely be connected to preinstalled speaker wiring. However, we'd recommend the following adapter kit: http://bit.ly/2zpSB7G . You may also want to consider the WB-50 or WB-20 II wall brackets for the speakers. Other than a home-theater receiver that provides 10-150 W per channel, 4-8 ohms, you shouldn't need anything else! We hope this helps!
Q: what wall mount brackets go with the Bose® - Acoustimass® 6 Series V
A: The compatible bracket models for this system are the UB-20II and the WB-50. The UB-20II is a more traditional bracket design and the WB-50 is a flush mount design.
Q: What is the best compatible receiver for bose acoustimass 6 series 5 home theater speaker system?
A: There is no actual best compatible receiver. If you want 5.1 surround, you can use almost any receiver that supports 5+1 speakers with bass. or if you are looking for 7.1+ you just need a compatible receiver that can utilize more speakers. The only thing is that you would need to buy the extra speakers to complete the system, and btw.... the 2 extra speakers will not have the special sound the rest of the bose system has, since it will be coming right out of the receiver, and not a bose base component. Hope this helps you in whatever yhou are looking for in a receiver/stereo. Have a great holiday season!!
Q: Does the four speakers have two little speakers in each speaker.
A: Only one. The Acoustimass 10 has 2 speakers per cube. I heard (rumor) that the Acoustimass 6 sounds better listening to music. If you are going to use it for mostly listening to music, buy the A6. If mostly for TV/Movies (and the room is HUGE), buy the A10. My A6 fills a 20 X 16 room with TV/Movie sound easily, and I am not using my two rear speakers.
