• There is no actual best compatible receiver. If you want 5.1 surround, you can use almost any receiver that supports 5+1 speakers with bass. or if you are looking for 7.1+ you just need a compatible receiver that can utilize more speakers. The only thing is that you would need to buy the extra speakers to complete the system, and btw.... the 2 extra speakers will not have the special sound the rest of the bose system has, since it will be coming right out of the receiver, and not a bose base component.
