• You have to use the bass module. The speakers cannot handle the receiver wattage being pluged directly into the receiver. Also, the speakers sound way better using the bass module. The module does extra sound filtering that makes the TV/Music sound clearer. That is the Bose system.

• Thank you for asking. The cable connecting your receiver to the Acoustimass Module has the individual speaker connections. Each speaker must be connected to the Acoustimass Module.
