My 700 did not produce any sound when connected to AVR through a wireless sound adapter using a 3.5 mm audio connector. Neither did module 300.

I don’t think so. I have a SVS soundpath wireless audio adapter which is connected wirelessly to my Audio receiver. The adapter has a 3.5mm audio connector and comes with 3.5mm to rca cables, etc. I could connect it to a regular subwoofer successfully. When I connected it to Bose module 300 (similar to 700) through a regular 3.5 mm audio connector, there was no sound from Bose module.

Thanks for the question. The Bass Module is specifically designed to pair with the Soundbar 500/700 and SoundTouch 300 systems. The Bose Surround speakers are the only cube speakers can be added to this system. Which can be found here: https://bose.life/2BKRXkc
