A:AnswerThanks for your question! The Bose Bass Module 700 is compatible with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar. It will pair with the soundbar using low-energy Bluetooth. We hope this helps! Have a fantastic day. Ashley - Bose Support
A:AnswerNo you don't need an amp. Don't hesitate and buy this subwoofer outstanding product and service! I own the soundbar, sub and rear speakers. Out of a 10 scale I give this system a million. You get what you pay for with electronics. Go cheap and you'll get bad results.
A:AnswerI have read a lot about this setup. Try disconnecting all devices from the sound bar except the rear speakers if you have them. Run adaptIQ. Then re-connect the bass module and see if that sounds better.
A:AnswerHello, Mtyblts. The Bass Module 700 is compatible with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar. It will use low-energy Bluetooth to pair wirelessly. Thank you for your question. Have a wonderful day! Ashley - Bose Support
A:AnswerIt sounds like you like a lot of bass! The Bose documentation recommends adding a second bass module when a lot of bass is desired. Short of doing that, perhaps placement of the bass module is an issue. Maybe moving it to a different location in the room would help. Also, have you run the tuning function that uses a microphone to set the system equalization? That helps a lot.
One trick from the old days in the life of an audiophile is to put a speaker in your favorite listening chair and move your ears to different places in the room to find where the speaker sounds best. Then, put the speaker where your ears were and put your ears in your chair where the speaker was. Sound transmission works the same both ways, so this methods works quite well.
A:AnswerHi there! the Bose Bass Module 700 can be connected to the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar, a Soundbar 500 or 700, or the supported Lifestyle systems. This means you can connect these to anything that those systems support via the supported cable types, or through Bluetooth. If your phone, computer or other device support these formats then you'd be able to use these as well!
A:AnswerThe sound emanates in all four directions. The sound comes out between the glass top and the four sided speaker box. The glass and the speaker box are actually separated from one another by about a quarter inch or a little bit more. That is actually where the sound comes out of. The four sided speaker box is only a box and there is no separate speaker facing One Direction other than up. The speaker inside the box faces up and the sound comes out of the top of the box between the glass and the box.
A:AnswerDo yourself a huge favor and get two 700's, or at least one until you can get the second one. You won't regret it. Get the surround speakers to. Pretty impressive to say the least.
A:AnswerThis is the larger of the 2 compatible subwoofers for the Bose Smart Soundbar 900. This is Dolby Atmos compatible and works when paired with the Atmos 900 Soundbar.
A:AnswerYes, the Bass Module 700 is compatible with the Bose TV Speaker, through the use of a 3.5 mm auxiliary audio cable which can be used to connect the two speakers together.
A:AnswerThanks for your question, Insygnus. The Bose Soundbar 500 and Bose Soundbar 700 and the Bose Bass Module 500 and Bose Bass Module 700 all use the same wireless protocols and can be mixed and matched (e.g., a Bose Soundbar 700 wirelessly paired with a Bose Bass Module 500 or a Bose Soundbar 500 with a Bose Bass Module 700). We hope this helps! Ashley - Bose Support
