• No just one digital optical cable from tv out to soundbar in or if you do not have this then two rca cables from tv out to soundbar in The cables are already attached to the soundbar. By the way it sounds great.

• No its really easy. Just hook the optical cable to your tv and and to the bose system. Set the tv sound to optical and its done.
