A:Answer There are 3 types of audio inputs supplied on the sound bar. An optical input, a RCA (red &white) input, and a digital (orange) optical input.
What I did was purchase a Logitech Bluetooth adapter sku #5294033 for 24.99. The Bluetooth adapter looks big and bulky online, but it is only about 1" square or about half the size of a small box of matches.
The adapter comes supplied with 3.5mm to rca cable that is compatible with the Bose soundbar.
Set up is a breeze.
All one has to do is connect the Bluetooth adapter power cord, then connect the 3.mm end to the Bluetooth adapter, and finally connect the rca end to the Bose soundbar, make sure red goes to red and white goes to white.
Once all connections are made pair your Bluetooth device to the adapter and now you're wirelessly streaming music to the Bose system which sounds AMAZING!!!!!!
If you prefer a wired connection from your phone or ipod to the Bose sound bar I suggest buying only the cable for 9.99. Sku # is 4408001, but I highly recommend going with the Logitech Bluetooth adapter.
