Q: can i listen my music from my cell phone and ipod???
A: There are 3 types of audio inputs supplied on the sound bar. An optical input, a RCA (red &white) input, and a digital (orange) optical input. What I did was purchase a Logitech Bluetooth adapter sku #5294033 for 24.99. The Bluetooth adapter looks big and bulky online, but it is only about 1" square or about half the size of a small box of matches. The adapter comes supplied with 3.5mm to rca cable that is compatible with the Bose soundbar. Set up is a breeze. All one has to do is connect the Bluetooth adapter power cord, then connect the 3.mm end to the Bluetooth adapter, and finally connect the rca end to the Bose soundbar, make sure red goes to red and white goes to white. Once all connections are made pair your Bluetooth device to the adapter and now you're wirelessly streaming music to the Bose system which sounds AMAZING!!!!!! If you prefer a wired connection from your phone or ipod to the Bose sound bar I suggest buying only the cable for 9.99. Sku # is 4408001, but I highly recommend going with the Logitech Bluetooth adapter.
Q: What cables does it come with?
A: The Cinemate 15 comes supplied with a 4ft digital audio (toslink) cable, and a 4ft RCA to RCA cable. There is a cable attached to the soundbar that connects to the subwoofer which is about 10-12ft long. Finally the power cord is about 6ft long.
Q: What is the difference between Cinemate 15 and Cinemate GS Series II?
A: The Cinemate GS II features a pair of speakers to place on the left and right of your TV. The Cinemate 15 instead features a single compact soundbar speaker. Both units come with a full universal remote, though the design on the Cinemate 15 remote is updated somewhat. Hope this helps!
A: Hello Jerry. As long as the TV has an audio output, the CineMate 15 Home Theater Speaker System will work with that TV. The CineMate 15 has digital coax, optical, and analog RCA inputs for connecting almost any TV.
Q: Sub woofer and sound bar questions
A: You could just turn the control knob on the back of the sub all the way down. The sound bar plugs into sub which plugs into power. So it has to at least be connected. Don't know individual Hz, collectively 50/60 Hz 300W.
A: Thanks for asking. Here are the instructions you are looking for: Adjust the bass control on the Acoustimass module. Rotating the knob counter-clockwise turns down bass response, rotating the knob clockwise turns up bass response. The center of the bass knob is detented, indicating the default level.
A: Hello Bostonian. The CineMate 15 does not have a wireless bass module, but the CineMate 120 does and is an excellent sounding sound bar with a wireless sub. It may be perfect for you. Thanks!
Q: How do I connect my RCA DVD player to my Bose sound bar?
A: You don't connect it. Your DVD player should be connected to the TV and the TV is connected to the BOSE.
