Q: QuestionSurround soundI'm finishing my man cave and swear by Bose quality. That being said I do not currently have a system with just a sound bar. What if I like the sound of racing or a good movie but enjoy the sound both behind me and on each side of me including from the front sound bar? Thank you

If you're looking for a system to provide a surround sound experience from a single soundbar placed in the front of the room, it will be better for you to consider the Bose SoundTouch 120 or SoundTouch 130, each of which have the Bose AdaptIQ system which allows the you to acoustically tune the system to your cave.

Q: QuestionHow do I turn the TV and Direct TV Box on/off using the remote?

• A:Answer This information comes from pages 22-23 in the user manual, which can be found online if you don't have the one that came with the product. First, you have to program the remote for any of the devices you want to control with the Bose Cinemate 15 remote. (Page 22 in User Manual) Once you have the remote programmed for your devices, press and hold the [TV] and [CBL-SAT] buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds. They will blink three times. (This process can be repeated to undo.) Now, when you press the Power button, the TV, DirecTV STB, and Bose Cinemate 15 will all power on and power off at the same time. Note: If one of the devices doesn't turn on or off, press the corresponding device button and the Source Power button to turn just that device on/off.

Q: QuestionI have a CineMate 15 and a Sony receiver, and a Samsung 4k tv. with the previous set up being the Sony receiver was hooked up with the 5 speakers for surround sound. is there anyway you can hook up the Bose to the Sony receiver?

• A:Answer Nope. It is a self-contained sound bar system with subwoofer. You can connect optical audio out of tv to bose and done. Don’t need receiver or extra speakers. I had 5 Speaker setup with receiver but I hook up this sound bar with sub and I didn’t miss 5 speakers system since then. It is loud enough to fill up 400-500sf room.
