Hello cooderbrown, Glad you asked. If you're looking for a system to provide a surround sound experience from a single soundbar placed in the front of the room, it will be better for you to consider the Bose SoundTouch 120 or SoundTouch 130, each of which have the Bose AdaptIQ system which allows the you to acoustically tune the system to your cave.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest Bose - SoundTouch 300 sound bar if your looking for more of a "surround" sound. The sound has more depth to it and of course in the store, it was connected to an Acoustimass module (the Acoustimass module is sold separately). I checked it out at the store and the sound was better than what I bought. I bought the Bose® - CineMate® 15 Home Theater Speaker System because it was on sale during black friday and it was simple to set up, plus the Acoustimass module is included with the sound bar. The CineMate 15 sounds great too, I'm happy with it. I mostly use it for my rock band game; the music and movies sound great, very clear. The CineMate 15 is great for the price and sound quality. If I had the budget, I would have gotten the SoundTouch 300. I'm not really savvy on these kinds of things but I hope this helps.
I would recommend:
