Not sure about mac, but if you want to hook up the iPhone wirelessly via Bluetooth you will need a Logitech Bluetooth adapter which comes with the necessary 3.5mm to RCA cable. The cost is $24.99. If you want a wired connection from the iPhone to the Bose sound bar, you'll only need a 3.5mm to RCA cable. The cost for the cable is $9.99. See below for the products I'm referring to. Others have stated that the cinemate is only intended for TV and only one thing can be plugged in at a time, which is not true. I have the Logitech adapter plugged in and a TV plugged in to the sound bar at the same time. You just can't have both turned on at the same time. In other words if you're watching TV, the Bluetooth has to be disabled through the IPod or if you're using Bluetooth the TV has to be off, but none of the cables have to be unplugged in order for one or the other to work. I cannot stress enough how amazing the Cinemate 15 sounds.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to connect to a device via blue-tooth, you will need to purchase the Bose blue-tooth streaming device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cables included are listed on the Bose website. Put in the Unit (cineMate 15) and it will show you all of the package contents and specifics of the cables. I had the same question you did and at the Best Buy store they were very accomadating and opened the box before I made the purchase and I saw the cables. The cables I believe were meant for connecting the speakers to a TV, not an iPhone. I'm not sure which Mac you are talking about so I can't answer this question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product is designed to work only with your television. It may or may not be possible to connect your phone or laptop to your television.
