I'm a fellow customer coming from the Bose Solo 15 to the Cinemate 15, and I would say that it is worth every penny. The bass is spectacular and the vocals are crisp and clear. I would highly recommend you to return the Solo 15 and buy the CineMate 15.

I would Defenetly recommend the Cinemate 15. 
I had purchased a samsung at first and returned it for the same reason.. i did not like the way it sounded. now i'm completely satisfied with bose cinemate 15. you will not regret it.
