• I'm using them to replace/enhance sound of 24" Samsung flat screen Smart TV and they work well.

• Yes, I believe it would enhance the sound. It's not going to have a booming bass like some of the sound systems, but the clarity is pristine. You won't get "movie theater" sound, but it is a rich sound.
