- A: AnswerI was debating between the two as well, and while the Companion 20s offer deeper bass delivery and a wider range in frequency, don't be so quick to dismiss the Companion 2s with their low price compared to the 20s. I personally couldn't justify the price difference, so I went with the Companion 2s.

Perfect System for a Small Room
Based on some negative audiophile reviews I was going to pass on these Bose Companion II 2.0 speakers. But, after hearing them in the store and reflecting on my satisfaction with the Bose Mini Soundlink for over 5 years, I decided to give these speakers a chance and I've been more than happy with the purchase. They are set up in a 12x12 room and the sound/acoustics for the small space is perfect. I've previouly owned a small 2.1 sysytem by logitech and found that in a small office/room the sub is always too much for a small space. I normally love heavy bass and a good 5.1 system, but for a small room in the house, these Bose Companion II's really are a perfect fit for any gamer or media watcher.

Sound quality not the best but “sound” product
For the price I was expecting a more robust sound. Didn’t meet expectation but works well no issues.
