Sure, if your TV has a headphone jack. Works great! If Audio Out using phono jacks, adapters are available almost anywhere for a couple bucks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! That is exactly my application. I have a nice, smaller HD TV with sketchy sound. The Bose system really fills a smaller room and makes the conversations clear at lower volumes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a headphone type jack then it should work. Or you might be able to use 1/8" to RCA (red and white) and that should work too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers are designed for desktop listening use with a computer. They are not generally suited to use with a television or home-theater setup as they do not feature a digital audio input or remote control. They may be able to attach to certain older TV’s with an analog output, but many newer TV’s may not be compatible. For a powered stereo speaker system to use with your TV, we would suggest Our Cinemate II.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most TV's do not have a 3.5mm plug ("headphone" plug) However if you TV does have a headphone jack/plug, then these would probably sound decent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Newer models yes, and there is also an awesome set of Bose for your HDTV too or a bar speaker. Whether a Bluetooth or for my HDTV or computer, I have NEVER regretted going with Bose! They really stand by their products too. Excellent organization!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They work fine on my Samsung Smart TV. Only problem I see is the wire that goes to the output jack isn't long enough to place the speakers across the room directly behind me to get more separation. My brother found a pair of these at a resale shop and gave them to me. Surprised to see they work just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it'll work for tv. You can use the Bose surround sound system it's Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have a pair hooked up to a kitchen TV, used with a Chromecast audio puck, so can cast music to them, and either have the TV on or off while listening to music. Yesterday ran an audio test with these speakers vs Sonos Beam vs Klipsch 2.1 at test 70% volume, back and forth between the sets. Bose Companion speakers won, returned the Sonos Beam that was missing high end even after calibration, and moved my Klipsch 2.1 back over to my computer. I have these Bose scattered throughout the kitchen / dining area for surround sound as well. We like the knob on front so if anyone in family thinks too loud in one area, they can just quickly turn an old fashioned knob without having to find their phone, and open apps to change the volume which is a royal pain. I should also mention had tried out a set of 4 Bose SoundTouches, but their app was a fail, and their wifi range extremely weak. But I highly recommend this pair, and they can be used in a variety of ways - computer, stand alone with Chromecast audio, or with a TV.
