A: Hello Drusiph, A popping noise from the subwoofer indicates a power mismatch in the circuit. The popping noise occurs as the amplifier tries to produce more voltage than it can to meet the demands of the subwoofer. A power mismatch is not the only issue that causes a popping noise from the subwoofer. The noise may also be due to loose connections in the circuit. If this noise persists, than please visit this link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055951254-Warranty-Z407-Bluetooth-Computer-Speakers-with-Subwoofer-and-Wireless-control. This is the link to the 1-year limited hardware warranty that the Z407 comes with. Hope that this helped and that all is going well. Best Regards, Richard from Logitech

These speakers are very good. In listen to a lot of hip hop music and the bass really slaps! I haven’t used the usb or Manual Connect I’ve just been connected via Bluetooth with no problems. The little remote is fine but after I adjusted the bass settings with my initial setup, I’ve just been using my phone to adjust the volume and skip back and forth between songs because that’s really all u need the remote for after initial setup until ur ready to connect a new device. So yea, go ahead and buy these u won’t be disappointed if u just want some good speakers to listen to some gangsta rap in ur room.

This speaker set rocks! It's a great value for the quality. Negative reviews must be mostly from nit-picking about the term "wireless," the wireless controller itself, or from audiophiles with unrealistic expectations. Firstly, yes, it is wireless, because it has Bluetooth, and a wireless controller. The satellite speakers themselves are not wireless, they plug into the subwoofer like most computer speaker systems. Second, I read a lot of complaints about the wireless controller. It comes with a plastic protector with the functions printed on it. (See pic) We will just leave it there until we have them memorized, and I also have a picture now in case we forget a function, but really it's not hard to remember. The only difficult part about that is the functions being different if you use the USB input. These are obviously inexpensive speakers. But you get 3 different ways to connect, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, (cable included) and USB. And you get a great sounding system with wireless control. It doesn't look bad, either. These more than fill our bedroom with sound, they enhance everything we're listening to. We use them mainly for watching movies and TV shows, which it is excellent for. The dialog isn't drowned out by the lows. They aren't bad at all for listening to music, either. They sound almost as good as our Sony sound bar system that cost almost 4x as much! Very pleased with this purchase, I'm glad I waited for these instead of settling for a different set.

Reasonably sized speaker setup for a desktop computer if you lack the space for larger "reference monitor" sized speakers. They sound OK, but lack a bit of treble clarity. I'd prefer actual volume and tone knobs as I find the Bluetooth controller to not be very useful. I end up controlling the speaker volume with my computer controls instead of that puck. If they made this set with actual knobs and skipped the Bluetooth and charged less I'd be all over that one.
