Yep. Bose makes many Mac-Friendly devices. Currently using a Companion 5, that uses a USB connection. No drivers to install, no software; OSX takes care of everything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bose Companion speakers can be connected to the headphone jack on a MacBook or any other laptop. Thanks for the question! (This answer is true for the Bose Companion 2 series II, and Companion 20 as well.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have hooked two different Bose sound systems to my MacBookPro and they worked perfectly.. You will have to go into Preferences>Sound>Output, and select the Bose system. (You may have to reboot after the selection to get the sound from the Bose system.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its uses a regular small jack. The speakers do have a power cord as well that needs to be plugged in to an outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use these on my Mac mini with the 3.5 mm headphone jack that the speakers plug into. If you don't have a headphone jack, a USB to 3.5mm adaptor should work. The speakers do not use bluetooth and have no USB connection included.
